Inferno is the first part of Dante Alighieri's 14th Century epic-poem The Divine Comedy. It is followed by Purgatorio and Paradiso. Inferno describes Dante's journey through hell, guided by the ancient Roman poem Virgil. Hell is depicted as nine concentric circles of torment located within the earth.
I designed nine double page spreads which will act as the title page, introducing each new circle of hell. I also designed a book cover and spine for Inferno.
